Today I organized a small filter, constructed with a tube filled with cotton, not really efficient perhaps, but at least filtered water is no longer black ... most of the suspension stops in cotton.
alternative is to decant the water bottles in many, many hours are needed, but as the days are not what's new, it might be worth trying. Even better would be to combine the two systems.
